# What validations are performed while configuring the Sender ID, and what errors can occur?

The following validations are checked during Sender ID configuration:

* **Approved sender validation** – If the Sender ID is not approved for Business Chat: "Not an approved sender"
* **Two-way chat validation** – If two-way chat is not enabled: "Please enable two-way chat to proceed with the configuration"
* **Business Chat registration validation** – If the Sender ID is invalid or not registered: "Valid sender ID is required"
* **Minimum length validation** – Sender ID must be at least 5 characters.
* **Country code validation** – A valid country code is mandatory.
* **Character validation** – Sender ID must contain only alphanumeric characters.
