Access Tokens

Access tokens are secure credentials that allow your system or application to authenticate the Truecaller business chat APIs. They act as digital keys that verify who is making the API call and what they are allowed to do.

Once you have logged in successfully, you can create an access token for your account. This token will be used to authenticate the business messaging API. Follow these steps to create an access token -

1. You can click on the "access tokens" section using the left-side menu.

2. Click on the "generate token" button.

3. Click on "download token". The access token is downloaded in .txt format.

4. Save the access token in a secure location. The token is shown only once.

Please note that the access token should be downloaded and stored in a secure location, as it will only be displayed once. If the token is deleted, a new token can be generated. Please ensure that the old token is replaced with a new one while sending messages.
