Business Chat Limits

Truecaller is constantly improving on its mission to create a safe and efficient communication platform and will therefore evolve its messaging rules to fulfill this mission.

Business Chat limits should be viewed as a foundation that ensures users can trust and value their communication with each business. These limits aim to encourage businesses to send relevant messages to users. This approach increases the likelihood that users will read the messages and find value in Truecaller's messaging.

Truecaller has 2 types of limits:

  • Daily Messaging limits per sender: Daily messaging limits are defined as the number of messages a sender can attempt on eligible truecaller users daily. This is determined by the recipient country and the sender category.

  • User-level limits for promotional senders: These limits apply only to promotional senders. These limits are in place to protect users from being over-targeted by a single business or many businesses within a time frame. In cases where limits are exceeded, Truecaller will not support promotional messages.
